ACE certification exams are typically conducted at computer-based testing centers around the world. You can take the exams at any Pearson VUE testing center. You can find the nearest testing center by visiting Pearson VUE's website and searching for ACE.

Steps to ACE Certification

Step 1: Eligibility and Application

Before applying, ensure you meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must hold a current CPR/AED certification with a live skills check.
  • You must have a high school diploma or GED.
Once you meet the eligibility criteria, visit the ACE website (www.acefitness.org) and complete the application process for the specific certification you are interested in.

Step 2: Scheduling the Exam

After your application is accepted, you receive an exam voucher. Visit Pearson VUE’s website (www.pearsonvue.com/ace), create an account, and schedule your exam using the voucher. You can choose the date, time, and location that is most convenient for you.

Step 3: Taking the Exam

On the day of your exam, arrive at the testing center early with two forms of identification. The exam typically includes multiple-choice questions and may take a few hours to complete. After you finish the exam, you will receive your results immediately.
