Who is Armed Forces Qualification Test ?

The AFQT (Armed Forces Qualification Test) is not a person or organization, but an examination that is part of the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery). It's used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces.

Step 1: Eligibility and Application
To take the AFQT, you need to be eligible. Eligibility typically requires you to be a U.S. citizen or resident alien, between the ages of 17-39, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and meet physical, moral, and mental standards. You can apply to take the test through a local military recruitment office.

Step 2: Scheduling the Exam
Once your application is accepted, you can schedule the exam. This is typically done through your local military recruitment office or a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). There are 65 MEPS locations in the U.S, with one or more in every state.

Step 3: Taking the Exam
The exam can be taken at a MEPS, a Military Entrance Test (MET) site, or even at some high schools and colleges. Your test location will be determined based on your application and scheduling process.

Location Information and Website
Your local recruiter or MEPS will provide you with the specific location for your test. The official website for more information on the AFQT and enlistment process is the official site of the U.S. Department of Defense: https://www.todaysmilitary.com/joining-eligibility/enlist

Note:
It's important to remember that the AFQT is not a separate test, but a score derived from four areas of the ASVAB: Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, and Word Knowledge.
