What is NETA?
NETA stands for the National Exercise Trainers Association, which is a fitness professional organization that offers certification for personal trainers and group exercise instructors.

Step 1: Eligibility and Application
Before you can take a NETA certification exam, you must first meet certain eligibility requirements. These typically include being at least 18 years of age, having a high school diploma or equivalent, and holding a current emergency card (CPR) and automated external defibrillator (AED) certification.
To apply, visit the NETA website at https://www.netafit.org/. From there, you can choose which certification program you're interested in, and fill out the online application form.

Step 2: Scheduling the Exam
After your application has been accepted, you will be able to schedule your exam. NETA offers computer-based testing at hundreds of PSI Testing Centers across the country. You can find a PSI Testing Center near you by visiting the PSI website at https://candidate.psiexams.com/locator/search.jsp.

Step 3: Taking the Exam
When it's time to take the exam, make sure to arrive at the testing center early. Bring a valid form of identification and any other materials required by NETA. The exam will be administered on a computer, and you'll have a set amount of time to complete it.
