Who is Secondary School Admission Test ?

The SSAT stands for Secondary School Admission Test. It's a standardized exam used by many private schools as part of their admissions process for students in grades 3-11.

Step 1: Eligibility and Application
Before you can take the SSAT, you must first be eligible. This typically means you're a student in grades 3-11 looking to attend a private school that requires the SSAT for admission. To apply, you'll need to create an account on the SSAT's official website (https://www.ssat.org/). From there, you can register for the test, choose a testing date, and pay the registration fee.

Step 2: Scheduling the Exam
Once you've registered and paid the fee, you can schedule your exam. The SSAT is offered on eight Saturdays throughout the academic year at various test centers around the world. When scheduling your exam, you'll be able to choose the test date and location that works best for you. You can find a list of available test centers on the SSAT's website.

Step 3: Taking the Exam
On the day of the exam, you'll need to arrive at your chosen test center with a printed copy of your admission ticket, two No. 2 pencils, and a good eraser. The exam itself consists of four sections (quantitative, reading comprehension, verbal, and an essay) and takes about three hours to complete.

The SSAT is offered in various locations globally. A list of these locations can be found on the SSAT's official website under the "Testing Locations" section.

The SSAT's official website is the best source for all information related to the test, including registration, scheduling, preparation resources, and more.
